The 12th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival – Images of the 21st Century, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki, presents the Documentary Educational Program which was successfully inaugurated two years ago. The documentaries included in this zone are screened in special screenings for elementary and secondary school students. Admission to the screenings is free.
These are short and full-length documentaries which have been made especially for children and teenagers. This year’s focus is titled “Crossing Boundaries” and its theme is the breaking down of actual and mental boundaries.
The documentary educational program of the 12th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival – Images of the 21st Century aspires to arouse the interest of school kids in the documentary and familiarize them with this particular narrative genre.
